Water Rescue Demonstration

On the afternoon of June 1, our Secondary 5 Physical Education elective students took part in a water rescue demonstration and experiential activity organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Guided by the principle of “Safety Knowledge First,” the instructor began by explaining the causes of water accidents and the basic principles of rescue, helping students grasp key observation points and correct handling methods. The instructor demonstrated how to remain calm in unexpected situations, choose appropriate approaches, and perform first aid with others.

Students were able to experience the process firsthand, putting classroom knowledge into practical application. Through this activity, they deepened their understanding of water safety awareness and developed the right mindset of mutual support.
