Our school’s teaching team has once again achieved peak recognition in the professional field of promoting teachers’ ethics and nurturing students with virtue! Vice Principal Mr. Wu Chun-ho has been awarded the “Excellence Award”, the highest honor in the “3rd Hong Kong Outstanding Teacher Ethics and Conduct Award Selection,” organized by Ta Kung Pao, guided by the Education Bureau, and co-organized by The Education University of Hong Kong and several principals’ associations. He received this distinction for his outstanding teaching performance and noble professional conduct, proving that his professional achievements have reached the top level in the industry.

This competition was based on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s concept of the “Four Haves” for good teachers (having ideals and beliefs, moral integrity, solid knowledge, and a caring heart). It aims to commend exemplary educators who embody both virtue and talent. Among many participating teachers across Hong Kong, winners were strictly selected by a judging panel composed of education experts, scholars, and senior media professionals, ensuring high credibility. Because of Vice Principal Hu’s inspiring teaching philosophy and touching contributions, Ta Kung Pao had earlier dispatched reporters to our school for an in-depth interview, allowing the public to witness the educational excellence of our leadership team.

The award ceremony was grandly held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Soochow-Kiangsu College. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. John Lee, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Ms. Christine Choi, Secretary for Education, who personally presented the awards. This distinction is not only a personal honor for Vice Principal Hu but also a collective pride of our school.

The school extends its warmest congratulations to Vice Principal Hu Zhenhao! We thank him for his pursuit of excellence in educational leadership and his commitment to nurturing students with virtue, setting an exemplary model for all teachers and students.
