Breakthrough in Science Education – Teacher Mr. Lau Chi-ho Invited as Guest Speaker for Education Bureau AI Project

Our school’s Chemistry teacher, Mr. Lau Chi-ho was invited by the Science Education Section to serve as a guest speaker at the briefing session for the“Science Education Artificial Intelligence Teaching Assistant”pilot scheme. He shared with educators across Hong Kong on how he has trialed the Bureau’s newly developed AI teaching tools in his classroom.

Following the 2025 Policy Address, which emphasized the strong promotion of digital education in primary and secondary schools, the Education Bureau has been actively integrating AI into teaching. This pilot scheme helps science teachers explore how to make effective use of AI, bringing more creative and efficient teaching strategies.

At the briefing, Mr. Lau shared his first-hand experiences, demonstrating how the AI teaching assistant can support student learning and inspire inquiry in science lessons. The audience responded enthusiastically, with many teachers praising the practicality of the tools and expressing high expectations for the future integration of AI into science education.

Finally, we sincerely thank the Science Education Section of the Education Bureau for giving our school the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of digital education!
